Step 1: Download the Microsoft Authenticator App

  1. Android: Scan the QR Code or download from the app store.

  2. On your computer, select "Next" only if you've already downloaded the app. If not, download it before proceeding.

  3. Do not proceed on the computer. Use your mobile device for the next steps.

Step 2: Scan the QR Code On your mobile device:

  1. Open Microsoft Authenticator, tap the (+) in the upper right.
  2. Select "Work or School Account."
  3. Choose "Scan QR Code."

  4. On your computer, click "Next" to display a QR code, then scan it using your mobile device.

Step 3: Approve the Microsoft Authenticator Login Request On your computer, a code will appear. On your mobile device, input the code from your computer into the Microsoft Authenticator app and click "Yes."

Step 4: Congratulations, Setup is Complete! Your computer confirms approval. On your mobile device, you'll see "Northern Lights College" and your email displayed.
