How to Use TeamDynamix to Submit an IT Request

TeamDynamix is a powerful platform used by NLC (Northern Lights College) for managing IT requests efficiently. This Knowledge Base (KB) article provides step-by-step instructions on how to use TeamDynamix to submit an IT request for various services, including IT support and asset requests. Whether accessing TeamDynamix through MyApps or navigating to the dedicated web address, you can easily submit your IT requests and receive timely support.

Details

Step 1: Accessing TeamDynamix

  1. To connect to NLC's instance of TeamDynamix, you have two options:
    • Access it as an app in MyApps.

    • Navigate directly to nlc.teamdynamix.com in your web browser.

Step 2: Entering the Client Portal

  1. Once you arrive at the TeamDynamix landing page, click on "Client Portal."Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 3: Exploring the Service Catalogue

  1. In the Client Portal, navigate to the "Services" section from the site bar. This action will direct you to the Service Catalogue, where you can find various service options.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Note: If you are signed in, you may see additional options beyond those shown in the screenshot.

Step 4: Selecting the IT Support Request Service

  1. Under the "Services" section, click on "IT Support Request" to initiate an IT support ticket. If you are a supervisor requesting assets for a new employee, select "IT Asset Request" instead.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 5: Requesting IT Service

  1. On the service page, click "Request Service" from the right-hand menu to create a new IT request.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Provide essential details such as your name (or the service requestor's name if you are submitting on their behalf) and department. Start typing until the names appear in the drop-down menu.
  3. Fill out the Title and Description sections, where you should include all relevant details about the request.
  4. Attach any necessary files or documents if applicable.
  5. Specify the due date for the request.

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email shortly acknowledging the receipt of your IT request. The IT team will then process your request based on our Service Level Agreements and provide the necessary support or assets as per your requirements.
